WordPress hosting for agencies: what 5, 10 and 20 client sites cost
Kinsta, Cloudways, Hostinger and SiteGround priced for 5, 10 and 20 client sites, first year and renewal, without assuming capacity the vendors do not state.
The short answer
Agencies meet four different pricing structures. Kinsta sells plans by the number of installs: 5, 10 and 20 sites are $115, $225 and $340 a month on monthly billing, which is $1,150, $2,250 and $3,400 a year on annual billing. Hostinger and SiteGround sell a plan for a fixed number of websites or an unlimited number: Hostinger Premium covers 3 websites, while the Hostinger Unlimited and SiteGround GrowBig plans list unlimited websites at a single price. Cloudways sells servers, and publishes no figure for how many sites a server holds.
That last point is why the table below does not pretend to say what a given server can carry: for the unlimited-website plans the price is flat but storage and suggested visits are shared across all your sites, and for Cloudways the cost per site depends on a capacity the pages do not give. Prices are in each vendor's currency and are not converted. They are list prices, not a total cost of ownership. For single-site comparisons see Kinsta vs SiteGround, Cloudways vs Kinsta and Hostinger vs Cloudways.
Kinsta: priced per install
| Plan | Installs | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Estimated visits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WP 5 | 5 | $115 | $1,150 | 125,000 |
| WP 10 | 10 | $225 | $2,250 | 315,000 |
| WP 20 | 20 | $340 | $3,400 | 500,000 |

The visit figure is Kinsta's estimate for the whole plan, not per site. The first month is listed as free, annual billing saves two months, and the page lists 14-day backup retention, 24/7 support and unlimited free migrations. On the Single plan an additional site is listed at $30 a month. Kinsta also lists an Agency plan starting at $340 a month ($284 a month billed annually) with agency-specific benefits; we did not read its install count or limits, so it is not priced here. The page states no renewal price after the first year. Our dated rows are on the Kinsta page.

Hostinger and SiteGround: a plan for many sites
| Plan | Websites | First 12 months | Next 12 months | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger Premium | 3 | $47.88 | $131.88 | 20 GB SSD |
| Hostinger Unlimited | Unlimited | $59.88 | $203.88 | 50 GB NVMe |
| SiteGround GrowBig | Unlimited | €83.88 | €335.88 | 50 GB |
| SiteGround GoGeek | Unlimited | €129.48 | €479.88 | 100 GB |
Hostinger's renewal is $10.99 a month for Premium and $16.99 for Unlimited for the same term, and its page lists a 30-day money-back guarantee and notes that the unlimited features fall under its Fair Usage Policy (see our WordPress hosting guide). SiteGround's EU site shows plan cards with "unlimited traffic", while its feature list gives a suitable number of monthly visits of about 100,000 for GrowBig and 400,000 for GoGeek; that suggestion applies to the plan as a whole, not to each site. Storage is also shared across all the sites on a plan.

Cloudways: a server, with no stated site count
| Server | Monthly price | RAM | vCPU | NVMe storage | Transfer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | $14 | 1 GB | 1 | 25 GB | 1 TB |
| Small | $28 | 2 GB | 1 | 50 GB | 2 TB |
| Medium | $54 | 4 GB | 2 | 80 GB | 4 TB |
Billing is hourly with a monthly cap and no term. The pages we read give server resources but no number of sites or visits a server can handle, so we do not claim that a Medium server can carry 5, 10 or 20 sites. What can be said is arithmetic: one Micro server per client site would cost $70, $140 and $280 a month for 5, 10 and 20 sites at the cap, and a single Medium server costs $54 a month whatever you put on it. Which of those structures works depends on your sites, not on a figure published here. Our dated rows are on the Cloudways page.

How to choose, by what you can verify
Start from what each page states rather than from the price. If you want a published install count and a price that scales with it, Kinsta states both, and costs the most per site in the table. If you accept a shared allowance for a very low flat price, the unlimited-website plans are the cheapest in the table, but they leave the question of how many busy sites they can carry unanswered by the vendor. If you want to size servers yourself and pay by the hour, Cloudways fits, and you take on the capacity judgement. A sensible check before committing is to take your three heaviest client sites and read each vendor's own limits against their storage and traffic. Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
- How much does Kinsta cost for 10 client sites?
On Kinsta's pricing page the WP 10 plan covers 10 installs for $225 a month on monthly billing, or $2,250 a year on annual billing, with an estimated 315,000 visits a month for the whole plan. The first month is listed as free.
- Can I host 20 sites on one Hostinger or SiteGround plan?
Hostinger Unlimited and SiteGround GrowBig and GoGeek list unlimited websites, so the price does not rise with the site count. Storage and, on SiteGround, the suggested visits are shared across the plan, and Hostinger's unlimited features fall under its Fair Usage Policy. The pages do not say how many busy sites a plan can carry.
- How many sites does a Cloudways server hold?
The Cloudways pricing page lists server resources (for example 1 GB of RAM, 25 GB of storage on Micro) and does not give a number of sites or visits per server, so we do not state one.
- Which is cheapest for an agency?
In the table the single unlimited plans are the cheapest in list price and Kinsta the most expensive per site, but they sell different things: a shared allowance against a stated install count with agency-oriented features. Price alone does not settle the choice.
- Do renewals change the picture?
Yes for Hostinger and SiteGround: Hostinger Unlimited renews at $203.88 a year on a 12-month term and SiteGround GrowBig at €335.88, several times the first-year price. Kinsta's page states no renewal price and Cloudways has no term.
