Editorial policy
How articles are written, checked, disclosed and corrected.
Independence
Editors choose which products to cover and how to compare them. Vendors cannot buy or review our conclusions, and the income we may earn from a product never changes its place in a comparison, a calculation or a verdict.
No invented experience
We do not publish invented tests, user reviews, quotes, ratings, awards, audience numbers or partner relationships. An article says “we tested” only when a dated test record exists for it.
Authors and editors
Every article names its author, a real person who agreed to be named. The facts of the version being published are confirmed by an editor: either a named person, or an authorised AI editorial agent acting under a written, time-limited delegation from the publisher. The confirmation is tied to that exact version, and our records show which kind of editor made it. If an article includes a product from a company connected to the publisher, it says so in a disclosure.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help research vendor pages, to draft text and, under the delegation described above, to check and publish articles. An AI agent’s confirmation is not independent human editing, and when the agent checks text that it prepared itself it is a self-check, not an independent one; we do not describe such an article as human-reviewed. The agent’s checks must rest on recorded sources, an unconfirmed fact is corrected or left out rather than stated as established, and text drafted with AI assistance is published only after it has passed the checks described here and the publisher has approved its release. AI tools do not verify or approve prices in the product catalogue, which stays a human task, and do not appear as authors.

Corrections
When we find an error we correct it and record the correction as described in our corrections policy. Prices and specifications update from our catalogue as soon as an editor records a change.
