Sponsored content policy
Paid material, if we ever publish any, is labelled, separate and never part of our comparisons.
Today
We do not currently publish sponsored articles, paid placements or advertising.
If that changes
- Sponsored material is labelled “Sponsored” before its headline, or on the block itself, and names the sponsor.
- It is kept outside our rankings, calculators and comparisons; a sponsor cannot appear in them because it pays.
- The sponsor can correct facts about its own product; it cannot change our conclusions or approve our editorial pages.
- The facts in sponsored material are checked to the same standard as the rest of the site.
